This application was created by myself and 5 other students for our SENG202 (Software Engineering Workshop) course during Semester 2 of 2020.
In this application the user can plan their holiday using airport, airline and flight data provided in the application and by adding specific events to their holiday, say a car trip or a general event. The application uses an SQLite database to filter and store data.
This is the main page of the application. On this page, the user can create a new holiday or select a existing holiday to look at or edit. The user can also add events to this holiday, which can be either a flight, a car trip, or a general event. The user can also see what they have added to their itinerary in the holiday agenda, sorted by date.
This is the search page of the application. here the user can enter in filters to find airports in a certain country or Flights from one country to another, with many other filters available.
In the image, you can see we are searching for flights from Egypt to France. The application shows these flights next to the filters with a draggable map showing the start and end airports with their flight path.
This is the raw data view of the application. here the user can view all Airports (around 8,000), Airlines (around 6,000), and Routes (around 67,000). They can also filter these results.
